Sheila Erwin, the founder and Senior Consultant for Medical A/R Revenue Solutions, since 1998.  Our office is in Crawfordville, FL. And we proudly serve the North Florida/South Georgia areas. Sheila is founder of the Tallahassee AAPC Chapter of professional coders and current 2024 President.

             Our staff of 20+ certified coders, billers and practice managers support physicians in North Florida & South Georgia, by means of a virtual back office.   

Our team of expert’s code & bill for a wide variety of out-patient-practice types including Primary Care, Pediatrics, Internal Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Dermatology, Gastroenterology, Infectious Disease, Ophthalmology, Oncology and host of other specialty and subspecialty outpatient practices.  Some of our clients see 10 patients a day, some see 400 patients a day.

In addition to coding & billing, we provide support service for insurance Credentialing…Provider Enrollment…Insurance Contracting.  We pride ourselves in being experts in this geographical area, in understanding the many local, regional, and national payer requirements, which you and I engage with on a daily basis.  We are not a “typical” billing services …We are not an all or nothing services.

We utilize the providers Practice Management, EMR and claims clearinghouse to assist in the revenue cycle.   You host the data!!! …You remain in control of the access to the data!!! …We do not own your data!!! …Nor are we here to solely replace your billing/coding department. You never relinquish control of your data nor your A/R functionality

Some clients engage in our back office service when they just need assistance during high volume claims or low personnel staffing period.  Other clients have simply requested we assist with A/R update due to back log or technology transition(s).   We do have clients that engage in our full services, focusing their staff on the patients in front of them and not on the back office coding/billing functions.  We work closely with providers and practice managers so that they better understand coding, billing, and revenue cycles.

We support practices as a team of experts in a “virtual back office” atmosphere.  Some practices need all our service(s), some pick & choose from a menu of services.
